High quality standard: how we work

During a series of standard processes, starting with checking on receipt, the seeds are dried, cleaned and sorted according to weight, size and/or color depending on the requirements. A germination test is then carried out. If the batch passes the checks, then the seeds will be treated to improve their quality; this is done with the help of temperature treatment or priming. New varieties are only approved after extensive testing.
